Cyber Nation

The vidoe really didnt tell me anything I didnt know already. The only reason people use the internet is to explore, hense the name "internet explorer". Give people the chance to explore different options thats not appliable to their real lives. they get to be different people, know different things, say what they wouldnt normally say, all types of things. If they could not explore it would be called "internet so boring". The video had a kid who was depressed and a mom who was too involved, and a kid who wanted to be something they werent. I feel sorry for none of them. there are they way they are because they choose to be. The internet just give them more reason to be they way they are.

Urban Legends

In my media analysis class we are looking into Urban Legends. I have don't really find them interesting at all, but if I had to choose one it would have to be the one about "The Price is Right". According to Snopes.com they offered a trip to New Orleans a week after Hurricane Katrina hit the golf coast. I mean they literally offered contestants an all expenses paid trip there to see and do idk what. I feel horrible for finding this humorous!

My Refection

Blogging is kind of new to me. I've done forums and little stuff like that, but never my own blog where I can post my ideas. I never really wanted to be a blogger, because all of the negative things you hear about what bloggers have done or said. Most of the time when I think about a blogger I think about someone who doesnt have a life or just someone who never experience things for themselves but commments on people who does. I never really look at the positives that bloga can be. for instance bloggers post some very important information that you wouldnt find anywhere else, you get to talk and interact with people who is interested in things you are and have the same intellect. So all in all I am starting to like blogging and all the things that come with it, good and bad!

11 more days until the election

Not really pressed about the election anymore! It was so excited and historic (still is historic), but the media just make you not even want to think about the election. just was wondering if anyone felt the same about it, as I do!
